The optical drive may be dying off according to some, but I still get quite a lot of mileage off of mine and would hate to see it go. Not sure this will work in slot-fed drives, but I love the ingenuity of this stowaway mouse for laptop users.

One of my longest standing grudges against “all in one workstations” is maintenance. If one thing breaks, it all breaks and to add insult to injury, many models are all but unserviceable by a user or in the field (looking at you Apple). Thanks for hearing our pleas, HP.
