It’s hard to not make something cooler by putting a Star Wars spin on it (that is not a dare, people), but in the case of a rain barrel, you get the benefits of reducing your use of processed water AND a neighbor stopping site in your yard.
After my first idea fell through, I re-primed the barrel whitish-gray and it looked like R2D2. I figure this would be a more popular design to raise more money. Besides exposure as an artist, this promotion supports the worthy cause of conserving rain water and keeping the local communities clean.
